purchasing policy

payment methods
There are several options for payment. Girl Metro, Inc. accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and checks. All are accepted in US funds only. All orders will begin processing after the clearance of funds. Payment by credit card will begin processing within 48 hours. Payment by check will begin processing as soon as check clears (generally within 10 to 15 days).

personalized printed products
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost of the total order is necessary to begin work on all Invitations, programs, thank you note cards and all other personalized printed materials in order to begin processing. The balance, including any adjustments due to additions or changes to the order is due upon receipt of the finished materials. Changes requested by the client to the original stationery product(s) or stationery order will be billed to the client. Additional charges are not refundable. "Changes" include, but are not limited to text changes, color changes, paper changes and design or layout changes.

pricing policy
Girl Metro, Inc. reserves the right to change prices without notice. Production, material and supplier costs may fluctuate occasionally, making price adjustments necessary. We also reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order due to a typographical error in pricing.

refusal of service
Girl Metro, Inc. reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason. All products are available while supplies last. Price and availability are subject to change without notice. All orders are subject to acceptance, verification and confirmation by Girl Metro, Inc.

taxes
All orders shipped to destinations within the borders of the state of Illinois are subject to current state tax. Girl Metro, Inc. reserves the right to change the sales tax rate based upon the requirements of the state of Illinois.

return policy
Due to the individual nature of our personalized (custom) products, there are no returns for custom work of any kind, including but not limited to custom or tailored wedding invitations, save-the-date cards, or personalised stationery. Please note that samples may not be returned for a refund. Pre-made pieces, such as our notecards and greeting cards offered in the social stationery section, may be returned in their original packaging (unopened) for a refund. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.

Refunds will be issued by check, within 3 business days of reciept of above items in the condition specified.

cancellation policy
Orders of personalized printed materials (including but not limited to invitations, save-the-date cards, personal stationery, and baby announcements) are not eligible for a refund, due to their individual nature as well as the cost of production and supplies. In the case of defective personalized printed products, a refund or reprinting will be offered at the discretion of Girl Metro, Inc.. Girl Metro, Inc. cannot be held responsible for mistakes overlooked by the client during the proofing process. Such overlooked mistakes do not constitute a product defect.

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us at 773 878 4475, and send an email stating that you wish to cancel your order, including your customer number. We must receive notice of cancellation in writing, before the order is printed, or you will be charged in full.

privacy policy
Girl Metro, Inc. respects the rights of engaged couples, new parents, and everyone else to remain free of a flood of unwanted mail, email or phone calls! For that reason, any information that we collect from you is for our own use. We do not (and will not) sell client information to any other company or service. If at any time you wish to discontinue receipt of email from Girl Metro, Inc., please send us an email with the word "remove" in the subject line or click the link at the bottom of the email, and we will be happy to remove you from our list.

shipping + handling policies
We offer FedEx Ground service (2-6 business days) for most orders for a flat fee of $15.00, and USPS Priority Mail ($5.15) for sample orders (3-5 days). Please note that we insure the pants off all of our +weddings orders, so shipping fees for wedding invitations are billed at cost. Smaller orders (for less than 10 greeting cards, or a single box of pre-printed cards) will be shipped for a flat fee of $5.15, which includes USPS Priority Mail shipping + handling. Within the city of Chicago, we also offer messenger service delivery, to be calculated and billed based upon distance and speed of delivery. We reserve the right to change shipping methods, carriers and prices. Shipping for International Orders will be calculated and billed separately when order is complete. You may be charged a customs fee by your country's customs authority for purchases originating from the United States. Fees may vary. Girl Metro, Inc. is not responsible for any international customs fees.
